Modern Warfare 2 Gets an Upgrade

Yesterday I featured a pair of Modern Warfare 2 screenshots from Gamescom 2009. Today, Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward has released an enhanced version of the image featuring Captain "Soap" McTavish. The brand new streaming texture technology is on display and it looks spectacular. This seemingly puts to rest any doubt as to whether the sequel would feature a noticeable graphical leap. Below is yesterday's low resolution image along with the just released high resolution image featuring the new streaming technology.
